I unintentionally took a break for a few days, then worked on the 4th Flexbox exercise.
Although it sounds counterproductive and ironic, I think accidentally taking a break made it easier for me to work on the 4th exercise as I was able to achieve the solution in less than an hour (by only relying on the CSS tricks cheatsheet) instead of stressing about it for days on end.
At the same time, I felt like giving up on learning web development altogether by using AI to convince me that I wasn’t technical enough to be a web developer and finding the easy way out by using website builders to achieve the same goals. As a result, I revisited the Motivation and Mindset section to remind myself of why I chose to learn web development in the first place, and one of my reasons was to gain tech independence to avoid having to rely on website builders and other platforms.
I plan to actually finish the Flexbox exercises and make a start on the Landing Page project.
