I worked my way through learning more about Git and GitHub. Also started learning about the basics of HTML and currently finishing up with the Links and Images lesson.
I’ve gotten a bit more used to using the command line for doing things and it’s starting to feel more efficient than using a GUI, and this is coming from someone who used to design user interfaces. Learning about some of the HTML features felt very straightforward.
The stress, constant micromanagement, and highly emotional toll from my dayjob took a massive hit on me and threw my mind into the gutter, which affected my ability to make progress. I guess it also gave me the motivation to actually do something about improving my career instead of being stuck in a job I feel neutral about.
I plan to make a start on the Recipes project.
